the social software client

twhirl is a desktop client for social software such as Twitter, Friendfeed, identi.ca, or seesmic

I suggest you ...

only notify each tweet once across many accounts

it seems like i get too many notifications - i use twhirl to watch several accounts, and when each one sees a post i will be notified repeatedly

i can turn on notifications for "only @replies" but what i'd rather is to be able to have "secondary" accounts, which won't repeat notifications for messages already notified on a primary

that way i can follow people on multiple accounts without being beseiged by extra notifications

(pls let me know if THIS is a duplicate!)

I just started using twhirl and its notification is far superior to other clients I've used. However, I am managing multiple accounts and a decent number of the SAME people are being followed on each of my accounts and the duplicate notices are annoying.
