I suggest you ...

Allow "undo" when typing

Allow a simple Ctrl+Z undo when typing. Right now, if I copy and paste text in the box, there's no way to undo it unless I physically delete it. A small annoyance, but it's happened several times (mostly because of the character limit).

Small annoyance? This is one of the most fundamental UI features that exist and it is missing. I seriously would use a different twitter client if something better was available, just because of this.

If not just for sutting and pasting. I hate it when I have a tweet assembling and attempt to paste a URL into the tweet only for it to extend paste the allowed amount of characters CTRL+z doesn;t work...have to go highlight the text and delete it...annoying!

This is crucial! I don't understand why it got only 5 votes till now. It's very annoying if you use the accustomed keys and then loose your whole text. Happened 4 to 6 times and it was really bad. I've been a fast typist for years and the keys should act like in all other windows applications - everything else is not tolerable.
