Let me tell you about my journey through twitter/facebook clients. I recently tried Seesmic Desktop 2 and Tweetdeck. They all have several drawbacks compared to twhirl. Twhirl keeps all replies in one column (a good thing!) and in a chronological order. So everything is in context without logical breaches (most exellent!).
Due to the fact that twhirl keeps everything in just one column, it's a slim client which doesn't occupy 95% of my desktop!
The other clients I mentioned (and also metrotwit) simply suck due to the loss of these points and I would love to go back to twhirl if it would support my Facebook account.

It would be cool to use twhirl to update and see the updates form my home wall on facebook, choose if the updates goes to twitter, facebook or both. Just as tweetdeck.

My understanding is that this feature is to pull the status updates of my friends and display them in twhirl along with tweets.

This should be clarified: are we voting on pulling status updates FROM facebook TO twhirl, or pushing updates TO facebook FROM twhirl.

If you mean TO facebook FROM twhirl, the facebook app and ping.fm both offer that functionality.

Oh yes, being able to pull status updates from Facebook would be the Hot Fudge on my Twhirl sundae!

As stephenscott mentioned, facebook can already update your status from your tweets. I would like it if a retweet would not update that status, however. If I retweet, it is not an update of my status, but an attempt to move along information to a bigger group on twitter. I have also used chirp and this is how it behaves.

Having FB status updates from your friends in FB in the Twhirl stream would be fantastic.

Unless I'm mistaken, I believe this is for twhirl to pull in status updates from your friends on Facebook, similar to clients like feedalizr and gwibber.
