I want a tab that you can click on to see who retweeted my tweets.

Start updating and supporting Twhirl again, including the new APIs and native retweets.

When I want to see my direct msgs received, Twhirl shows me a msg that says "error receiving direct msgs". I can see my tweets and my mentions but can't see my DMs.

for several weeks now, tWhirl has stopped being able to retrieve DM's even though I've granted it access. Win7 PC

Add support for Google URL Shortener

This is an open request to Seesmic to continue development of twhirl. The Seesminc desktop application does not replace twhirl as it does not support Identi.ca, Status.net or FriendFeed. twhirl also offers a unique interface unlike any other microblogging application. Please continue to develop it and add your extra support for Facebook, Linkedin, Ping.fm, Foursquare and Google Buzz.

Don't abandon a great application.

Is there are reason that Twhirl is unable to display retweets as Twitter intends them to be (shown as posted by the original poster with an icon of who retweeted it in the corner), rather than the old way beginning with "RT @username?" It's annoying to have to click on the timestamp of a tweet and open it in the browser to see the whole text or to retweet it myself.

when ctrl-backspace in the textfield creates a strange char "" and doesnt delete the last word. pls fix, its a very often used keyboard-shortcut.

Bug with upgrade/install of 0.9.7.
After install, I can no longer log into Twitter server.

Screen name does not appear on Accounts tab (no screen names listed). Cannot add screen name to listing.

Screen Name still listed on main twirl window.

Add support for short URLs via joun.me, an URL Shorten service created in Spain.

It can be useful to display only "new" tweets, i.e. not already seen/read. Perhaps is it already possible with filter (I'm using V 0.9.5) ?
