Similar to the feature in the "Spaz" twitter application, when tweeting, when the "@" symbol is typed a list (ajax handler) of your friends pops up for automatic completion of your "reply".

When I start up Twhirl, first it takes every bit of processing away from everything else, and then my screen FILLS with popups...Some are new, but the majority are those I have already read, marked as seen, and trashed. This included ALL of my direct messages, and most of the @s from days past...This has GOT to stop! If' I've marked it as read, I DON'T WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN!

twt.fm allows twitter users to share music by simply providing an artist and track name. it also expands the twitter experience by incorporating your page aesthetic into your track pages, example: http://twt.fm/12

http://migre.me/ is a very good brazilian startup and provides a very good service to short URLs integrated with twitter.

Song.ly (http://song.ly/) is a service that allows sharing music on Twitter. It would be fantastic to play music tweets right in Twhirl and support Song.ly URL shortening for music.

Ping.fm integration is why I'll continue using Thwirl as main Twitter client. But some tweets I don't want going to certain sites. It would be great to exclude a tweet containing an f-bomb from going to LinkedIn, for example.

After about an hour of use twhirl tends to run in the 250K range of ram usage. I've seen it spike as high as almost 700K after being left running for half a day or so. The footprint of twhirl is nice for smaller screens of netbooks but the mem usage kills the system.

We are a large and varied group of users, and deserve a large and varied choice of colors.

pikchur.com is much better than twitpic cause it also integrates many other networks, so using twhirl i could upload my picture everywhere thanks to pikchur API.

I use Tweetie on the iPhone and love how I can track an @reply conversation within the application itself. I would love to see such functionality in Twhirl!
